good idea, let's see.

So I have a new Mamba monster esc and want to run in the snow. I have been giving it some thought as to if the rustoleum rubber spray will work. I don't know if it would interfere with the electronic's. What do the forum's think?

There are a number of youtube videos that show ways to waterproof sensorless escs. I have done it with liquid tape, but I do not have 100% trust that it will be OK to get it very wet.

No matter what you do waterproof it, do not push your luck and be prepared to live with the issue if something does fail.

+1, be prepared to live with the results. I believe there are a few video's and testimonials of the waterproof spray working successfully.

Liquid electric tape is what the crawlers use! And they submerge the things in water

liquid tape seems to be the method of choice.

I believe it voids your warranty to put anything on the Esc board though.

I would think one concern is reduced cooling. Possibly not a great idea for anything that runs fairly hot to begin with.

it's only going to run in the winter and with a 2650 on 3s. I have thought about everything but with the average temp being 10 degrees I figure I would be fine.

I have seen that Outer wears make's an esc shroud, thought about that.
