Default Should I bother? Hobbywing ezrun

I have a hobbywing ezrun 60a-sl and 4000kv 8.5 I bough a few years ago and never really used, I now use a tekin RS in my 17.5 touring car and another one in my buggy, I need a motor and esc for my sc10 should I bother putting it in, or should I get new stuff? I kind of remember it being very slow in my sedan, Like slower than 17.5 in blink. It was so long ago I can't remember, I should also note racer not a basher.

If you plan on racing your SC10, buy race-grade electronics for it. While the EZrun setup would work, the higher-end equipment tends to have a better feel, and provides more precise control. There are several well-priced ESCs available that offer a lot of top-level tuning features for a reasonable price; unless your on a really tight budget, I'd bite the bullet and buy a good ESC.
