Servo HITEC question :)

I bought another hitec 7940 model servo and for some reason the servo looks used I don't know if they all look like that out of the box or if that's just how they look new someone help please thanks

ive noticed that too on my 7955tg. the case looks kinda faded in some spots. looks used.

I bought 2 of those from different hobby stores on eBay and they both looked the same :(
