Mixing receiver types with Airtronics

Hey guys. I own a MX3X and it came with a FHSS-3 receiver. I want to buy a cheaper FHSS-2 (92524) for a second vehicle. Will I have to go into the menu and switch the FHSS mode every time I use a different reciever, or are the model numbers independent? I don't want to have to go into the menu and toggle the FHSS type every time I use a different receiver. I am wondering if I will have to do this, or if the FHSS can be bound by the model number.

Thanks.

It's bound by the model number....so if you set up model #2 with the FH2, then it will remember that everytime you select model #2
