M11X Replacement Antenna
 

I broke my antenna and was looking for a replacement. I found an old Wifi card from a computer that was stored away in my closet. The wifi card had an antenna and it looked identical to the Airtronics antenna in every way. It seems to fit the radio but I havent done any testing with it. Is it really the same?

I was thinking of ordering a new antenna and maybe a spare but now I'm wondering what other antenna's are out there that might work? Maybe a smaller one that doesnt folder over and break?

I would just order a stock one. Or you can order the kawada antenna. It still folds but it's a lot shorter.

if it's like my old radio it's antenna isn't the plastic tube you touch. the wire just goes inside it like the tube on the car.

a housing is a housing. you have it and if it works use it. if not you're not out anything other than time fiddling with it.
however I would NOT buy one and hope it works.
