boat electrics in buggy?
hey guys just wondering can i use my boat electrics in my buggy , the two systems i have are both 1800kv ones a 6s and the other is 4s , ive only ever ran 4s anyways but i guess im just wondering why couldnt i use these in my buggies cause my boats are put away for the winter

Do the ESCs have brakes, or strong enough brakes for a car? What about cooling, are they set up for water cooling? If they don't have a typical heat sink cooling might be an issue. Although average car loads are possibly lower than a boat, so maybe OK, but perhaps worth checking.

well im not sure about brakes but they do have reverse so i would assume they could be adjusted, and i figured if i was to run them i would use heatsink and fan on it and use my telemitry to keep an eye on it , my question is more that im wondering if 1800kv is ok for buggy or is it to much torque, usually a guy would run more like 2650 ish right

1/8 scale buggy? Racing or bashing? If racing, 4S with a 1800kv, assuming it's a typical 1/8 scale size motor, is just about perfect in my opinion. 4S with a 2650 generally is more power than can be used on a track, likely reduces run time and run pretty hot.

cool, doing some more digging into it ive found the same to be true , seems that these are great candidates for a buggy ill try them and let you guys know how they ran and what if any the issues were with running boat electrics in my buggy, maybe ill hook a rad kit up with little 12v fish pump and keep it super cool lol , (seen it done)
