Here is the picture of the motor i smoked

It oscillates when i pull trigger. And leads get exceedingly hot after a few seconds

I have bought a four pole 4000kv motor from hobbywing and installed that. Is it a characteristic of four pole motors to not "coast" when trigger is in neutral?
If not then i may need to reset the esc.
Please let me know about the coasting in neutral
Fritz
Recalibrate the radio to the esc first. It shouldn't move in neutral.

FastPete

I have recalibrated the esc to trx.
I was asking that when in neutral is it normal for the truck feel as if the brakes are slightly on?

I have reset the esc to defaults.

For 4 pole I would stick with a SCT Pro
