Default thunder power 1900kv vs hobbywing 2200kv

hey people I have both blue hobbywing (ezrun) 2200kv and thunder power 1900kv motors.

My question I need to sell one of them not sure which one I should keep?? It will be used in a losi 8ight buggy with a 150amp hobbywing esc

any thought would be great thanks

Don’t have experience with how those brands compare. But in general a 1900kv on 4S is plenty of power for an 1/8 buggy. A 2200kv will likely run hotter with less run time, with more power than can effectively be used in most cases.

so you are saying that the 1900kv will run colder and longer? compared with the 2200kv with the same gearing?

I wouldn't say with the same gearing. It's important to gear each motor correctly, higher kv smaller pinion, lower kv larger pinion. Then yes in general a lower kv will run cooler and longer.
