Cleaning radio

What do you guys use to keep your radios clean. I usually spray with air compressor but it dont get it looking kind of new again. I used a electrical cleaner on my M11x and it melted the plastic together and pretty much messed(cosmetic) up a good radio but it still works. Im trying to keep my M12 looking good but the air compressor just not doing it. What can I use?

Damp cloth, followed by a dry cloth, followed by a tiny drop of wd40 on the screws.

A toothbrush cleans out the little spots, shoot some air, wipe down with a clean cloth with a little pledge. Not too much because the stuff that makes it shine also is the stuff that helps the dust collect in the little spots.
Put it away when not in use. If it is sitting out on a bench it's gonna collect dust.

Anybody have issues with the round mode selector on the spectrum radio? I'm having a hard time with the dial , can't find models easy or any functions. I gotta keep turning the round dial and hope it lands where I need it. Is this fixable? Is this a :" dirt inside the radio " case?
