Powerlab

Hi guys. New here, but have been lurking around and learning what I can.

I just ordered a powerlab 6 combo from Amain. ~$185 after coupon. Looking forward to learning how to use it. Currently using an Onyx 235. I run 1/8th buggy and short course on the weekends when the schedule permits.

I picked mine up a couple months ago....seems fairly simple to operate, very intuitive.

You didn't mention it but what PS are you going to be running?

I've got an Iota DLS-55 for a power supply. No plans to charge 6-4s packs at the same time. Maybe a couple 2s packs but we'll see.

I also got a Powerlab 6 a couple weeks ago, I went with the Junsi
s1200 power supply.
I bought/buy all the stuff form ProgressiveRC, great people.
So far, all I've done with it is storage mode:o

Currently using an Onyx 235
Exactly what I was using.

I was gonna buy from Progressive, but with the coupon from Amain made it a little cheaper. And the free shirt.

And the free shirt.
Yup, a free shirt would of swayed my decision also.LOLO
They are also great people.

Do you use one of the preset Storage Modes? I used preset 17 initially for "all capacity..." or something. Then I tried 7, and ended up redoing all of my batteries on the LIPO storage preset.

Preset storage mode is all you need. I pasted it to a couple memory slots so I have one set for my cars packs and one set for my transmitter pack. So one is 10a charge and 9a discharge and the other is 1.5a charge and discharge. One is named storage and the other named Tx storage.
Just pick a storage profile for the pack I'm storing without having to mess with settings.

I also have a slot for each pack. I have two reedy 6500 sticks and one smc 7200 stick and a reedy saddle. Each with their own amp setting needs. Each slot was copied from high power charge preset I think it was so I can get over 10 amps. Changed the amp setting and gave it a name. Now when its time to charge any of the packs I just choose the slot named after the pack and go.
