4pks glitch
 

I had had my 4pks for almost a year now and this is the first time something weird has happened. One race day the car all off a sudden would do a quick shut off. Kind of a glitch thing cause it happened sporadically. Checked all wires to make sure no loose or cut ones. Two days later practicing car went out of control. Tried to stop but when pushed trigger up it still was going forward. Thought something was wrong with esc so I installed a new esc tonight. Thought things were ok but as I turned controller sideways car went into full throttle without touching trigger. So now Im thinking something is wrong with my controller. Any clues?

Could be the receiver as well. Also check for strange failsafe settings.

Thanks for your input. I actually tried another receiver this morning after I saw your post. Same problem though. All my settings are as I have had them for a long time. I am going to try a few more things and then probably send it in for a checkup!

Would you tell us what happened to your transmitter, have you found the problem or it has been sent for checkup, as my mate's 4PKS has exactly same thing however we could not figer out what happened then he ordered 4PKS-R

I bought a 4pks-r cuz I had a race coming up and I didn't have time to send in my 4pks. I assume it has to be the radio at this point cuz my new 4pks-r works fine with my same old receiver. I have not sent in my 4pks yet.
