HV servo?

Starting my winter rebuild soon and going with 2 new servos, Im looking at Savox High Voltage in SV-1270TG & SV-1273TG, currently Im running a Protek Life 6.6V/1800mAh RX battery, will the battery provide enough power to keep the servo's working at their full potential or should I consider an upgrade on the rx batt as well. Thanks in advance.

Yes, you will get the most from those servos using a 2s lipo.

Thanks for the reply, I know the LiPo will provide the best performance for the HV servo's, my question is will the 6.6v Life supply enough punch?

Here are the specs for 6V & 7V. What's the point of buying HV Servo's without using a Lipo? Yes the servo's will work with your LiFe battery.

Cheaper servo's available if you want to stick with your LiFe.

1273TG

Speed(@6.0V sec/60): .08
Torque(@6.0V oz-in): 194.4
Speed(@7.4V sec/60): .065
Torque(@7.4V oz-in): 222.2

1270TG

Speed(@6.0V sec/60): .14
Torque(@6.0V oz-in): 361.1
Speed(@7.4V sec/60): .11
Torque(@7.4V oz-in): 487.7
