Thanks for reply. yes i tried setting it normal for aux2 but still cant seem find which adjustment is controlling the gyro.

i have SV Plus Type D with a MTS. ive gotten the SSL Setup and i can control all the AUX 2 Codes. but i was trying to be able to control My Gyro (non Sanwa) to be adjusted through remote. i cant figure it out. Do i need to use the Y-Harness?

Thanks in advance.

if i cant figure this out. im considering this a downside of being integrated RX/ESC
Hi i ve the MTS with sv plus zéro. Actually code aux to control the Speedo does'nt work. It does'nt modify Speedo parameters? Ssl is on ans telemetry work well
Any suggestion?

Looking at picking one of these up. I have the new antenna less receivers, will I be able to use the SSL with these receivers? Also is the combo unit any good, it is only like $40 more than the standard one, and would both be good for 2wd mod buggy/truggy and the 4wd buggy? Would you recommend the standard one or the one with built in rx? Switching over from Tekin and thinking this one or the Reedy brand but I already have the 4s remote

Does the Orion or Hobbywing switch work on the Sanwa esc?

I've been running these esc in my buggies for a year now without a problem. Took the new rb6.6 out today and the battery must of moved and taken out my switch... now I'm unable to switch it off. I can pull the power but I like my buggy fully functional.

I lost a switch on my tekin and I live in Vietnam, and no hobby shop sells any two wire switches, to make a long story short, you can use a normal switch but you will have two wires going into one, and one going into one with the other wire being left alone, it might not be ideal, but for me it worked until I could order a switch off amain and get it sent out (took about a month) I know this isn't your question but basically any switch (12 volt) will work, you could even run a toggle switch if you wanted to. Just snip the wires from your switch and hook them up to the esc switch wires and you will be good to go. I ended up getting the western robotics power switch and it worked great. I think the only problem would be if the setup button is on the power switch like it is on some esc's

Thanks for the reply. My biggest concern I have is for the setup button, looks like I'll give it a shot and let you know. I've always like the Orion power button better.

482rx can use ssl
481rx can't

I would get the new gen2:

but whatever one you get they can be used in all classes/cars you mention

Related part from the manual: WARNING: M12, EXZES Z, MT-4S, MT-S don't have CODE 10 function. CODE AUX of M12, EXZES Z, MT-4S, MT-S can change values only for throttle punch/neutral brake rate/drive feel/neutral brake feel/brake feel.

This means, that out of 10 remotely-controllable ESC parameters, only 5 can be changed with transmitters other than M12S and EXZES ZZ (unless I have misunderstood the manual badly).

BTW - does anyone have any idea what the motor limits for this ESC are, and its electrical parameters? I can't find even such a basic parameter as BEC voltage and current. I would ideally like to connect Tekin Pro2 motor (which is a 4 pole motor). However, I have a very light car (1500g), which should help.

Is there a gen 2 with the built in receiver?

Correct you can only change 5 parameters with older radio's.

There is no gen2 with build in receiver.
Not sure if it will come later.

Usually the way you reverse motor rotation is through the radio and reversing the throttle channel, then recalibrating the speed control.

Hey guys, am thinking about getting a super vortex zero esc/rx to go with my mt4s radio. I like to tinker and think this would be cool. Any major ups or downs worth mentioning with these things ..pain in the ass to tweak or super convienent etc. etc.??? I currently use a Tekin RSX esc with hotwire 2.0 for setup changes. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! This would be used in 2wd and/or 4wd buggy mod class.

+1 to this. Anyone who can share some more detailed experience with this ESC?

Does anyone know what the motor limit is? Can I run 4-pole motor with it (car under 2kg / 4lbs)?

I have tried to contact Sanwa, and this is what I've got:

I really like their stuff, but it almost looks like they don't want to do any business. Missing information, email not working, no support forum, ...
