Hitec x1 touch

Currently have a hitec x1. Looking to upgrade to a charger that measures internal resistance. The hitec x1 touch measures resistance but only for the whole pack is this good enough to tell if a battery should be used or not? If not what other chargers in the same price range +- $100 measure ir?

Thanks I'll check that one out. Why do you think that one is better?

does alot as well as measuring ir, check out link, nice little dc charger alot better than the original touch ac/dc

Yeah looks good, I don't have a power supply though the ac dc version isn't much more $ only bad thing I see is only 5a

that and has less features as well.

Unless you are going to rebuild packs, I think pack resistance gives you what you need to keep track of packs. It's what you run in the car. I get that individual cell measurements are interesting, but perhaps not of all that much practical value for many.

I like the individual cell ir readings on the orion. Can the ir only be seen while actually charging on that one? Or can it be checked alone?
