High Voltage servos on Lipo

Guys, im curious to how some of you have your High voltage servos wired to a 2s 7.4 lipo i have a savox 1267 high voltage servo thats rated to run direct off a unregulated lipo....how do i wire it up?? thanks

On the plug going from the ESC to the reciever, either clip or remove the pin for the red wire. Then solder a small gauge wire to the positive battery wire at the ESC and run it straight to pin you removed at the reciever.

Basically bypass the BEC in the ESC.

most people get a small servo extension and plug it in between the ESC and receiver.. clip the wire on the servo extension instead of the wire on the ESC.

This is what I do.

I got a servo extension (as to not cut the servo's wire). The red wire off the extension has a male lipo balance plug. So I plug the servo red wire into the balance lead of the lipo. The black and white wires plug into the esc.

Now if you want to have a dedicated lipo only for the servo (not power it off the lipos powering your esc). Then you have to use the red and black wire going to the lipo and the white going into the rx only.
