I was thinking of a new charger, it must be ac/dc, 10 amps is very
much OK with me.
Has any one had any problems with this charger?

I have one and it's worked great all season. I parallel charge 2x4s lipos with it on a regular basis with ease. Easy to transport too since it isn't too large considering how powerful it is.

Dave, thank you.
After searching the net, there are allot of ac/dc-10amp chargers.
Right now, I have a Onyx 235, 6 amp is all I can charge on AC.

The biggest reason I bought it wasn't the 10 amps, it's the 200w of output. Hard to find that many watts of power with an all in one AC charger. At least it was when I looked this past winter.

We have two of the dynamite passports, and had another in the past. We both like ours. Good all around reasonably priced charger. I'm not sure if all the chargers do this, but my version of the charger reduces the charge rate when one cell is over 100Mv (1/10 volt) out of balance. The full charge rate won't kick in until all cells get within that range. It doesn't pull the high cell down, it trickle charges the low cell. But all in all, I like the passports, nice bang for the buck.

Sons version

My version/ I charge @ 8 amps always.

On my Onyx 235, I can only charge at 6 amps(AC)
For my 7.4V/7200/70Cs, at 6 amps, it takes 65 minutes.
I hope I can cut that time down a bit
I also like that I can use the storage feature.

Nice charger Mark. I think on mine, the discharge threshold is set for 3.0volts and can't be changed, at least I haven't been able to change it. I usually just cut off the charge or discharge around 3.8v for storage. The only other one I would consider getting is the Onyx 245, for dual charging batteries, since I run 2X2S (2S, 4S) and 2X3S (3S) duals exclusively.

This may sound silly but I have just purchased the Dymamite Passport Ultraforce 200w charger and I am wondering where you plug in a Ni-Mh battery? Theres aplace on the side that looks like it would fit but it says Temp sensor. Can someone help?

Need to plug in to the main round banana ports to charge it. Probably need an adapter to convert between whichever connector your ni-mh has to bananas. Not the temp sensor port. I'm guessing it is a receiver pack?
