Default S6040 endpoint adjustment in 22t

Hey guys,

Just finished building my 22T and have a question about the steering. I installed the Spektrum S6040 and I am running a dx3s radio. When I set the truck on the ground the first time I noticed it lacked a ton of steering. Steering EPA was at 100%. Dialed it up to 150% and now was tons of travel and steering. Is that normal for this setup or do I have something out of whack here?

Is the dual rate set to 100%?

I might also add that at full lock it is noisy to the left and not to the right. Steering linkage is the same side to side so I really don't know what is going on here

You may want to double check your sub trim and trim. After that, set your steering epa left and right but do not go too far where the servo makes the noise you are mentioning. Not good for the servo motor to go too far.
