Problem with charger(s) Need help badly

Okay this has gotten to be a serious problem now. I have three chargers and none of them are working.
I have: a 2b6 dual battery charger, an Imax b6 clone, and an Electrifly Triton.
The problem is, sometimes (ALL three of the chargers do the same) during charging, the charger will randomly beep and say the battery if fully charged, when I know for sure it is not. For example, I just tried charging a onyx 7.2 6 cell nimh 5000mah pack that was FULLY DEPLETED, at 5 amps. So theoretically, it should take an hour to charge, give or take a few min. So about 20min into charging, it beeps and says it's done. Theres no way it was done. The battery wasn't even warm. I try it again, and it does the same ten minutes in. Still no way it's fully charged. All three of my chargers do the exact same thing. What is causing this? Sometimes it will charge all the way, but most of the time not. I know its not the safety timers on the chargers, because the time it charges is always different. Any ideas? I really need to figure this out

Youre chargers are fine. Your bttery is the problem. You have a weak/dead cell in it.

Probably more than one I'd guess!

Battery is shot, time to go Lipo

Alright yeah I guess that would make sense that it has a bad cell. So if I get a lipo there's less chance of this happening? how often is it you get a defective lipo compared to a nimh?

Lipos dont suffer from this as badly. Id say its probably pretty slim.

Yes, basic rule of troubleshooting is if all your chargers do the same thing with the same battery, the battery is the problem.

LiPos are pretty consistent as long as you balance them. I always balance charge and I use a stand alone balancer between runs. It is very rare to get a bad cell out of the box. Granted, not all are created equal so do some research first.

With lipos u have to treat them right and they will last almost forever...figuratively ;)
