Lipo voltage checker
I'm fairly new to lipo & life battery's.... The ones I have I always balance charge, I'm looking to buy a voltage checker what do you guys recommend? Thanks...

question..why do you want/need a voltage checker? You looking for something "in car"?
Otherwise a standard volt meter which can be found for about 5 bucks will tell you what you need to know. |
+1 A standard VOM is all you need to check cells. I purchased a digital balancer to check my cells and balance them between runs without charging. This isn't necessary, but I like the ability to re-balance after runs and to check if a battery may be going south. It keeps my cells healthy and helps to prevent me from over discharging a cell.

Most lipo balance chargers can be used as a cell checker. Although I can see how one of the little checkers would be handy to have for quick checks, always a good idea.
+ on having a volt ohm meter for general use and trouble shooting, a cheapy generally works fine. |

thats what i do, i plug the lipo onto the charger and hit sorage mde, and then then the volts pop up and it tells me how many volts are in each cell, i usualy tend to run them to 3.7 and then recharge from there as i am racing, and then i let em sit at that voltage!!
