So i need a new steering servo? If not what can i do instead of buying a new one.

ThePanda 08-01-2013 06:05 PM

does it sound like its running, but the horn doesnt move?

ThePanda 08-01-2013 06:06 PM

try and open it up (should be just 4 screws) and take a look at the internal gears.

Some how i fixed it but i think what was going wrong was that the metal bar down the middle was stopping it. I think i flipped the sides back wards because there are grooves on the metal apparently for the servo.

Oh that's good. Happy ending

Open the servo, look Solder parts, if you with Solder experience, then re-welding it,

Drastic 08-01-2013 08:32 PM

ThePanda 08-01-2013 08:50 PM

Drastic 08-01-2013 08:52 PM

ThePanda 08-01-2013 09:04 PM

Sounds like the motor or the amplifier is goin....or gone!!:(

Drastic 08-02-2013 08:15 PM

it goes off and on( the problem does) and now it steers to the left all the time and barley to the right. Do I have to reset the steering?

ThePanda 08-02-2013 11:05 PM

Center the trim? Maybe?
