Castle BEC random shut offs

So i've searched and searched and cant seem to find an answer, but i am having trouble with my Castle 10 amp BEC. I purchased this BEC about 2 weeks ago after my 1 1/2 year old BEC died.
The problem is that it randomly will shut off, down the straights, in corners, jumping, but seem more prone to hard landings, it shuts off for a couple second and comes back on. I know its not the speed control, because when i regains power it doesn't do the normal power up.
Gear:
Sc10
mmp
castle sct motor
futaba 603ff or fs receiver, can't remember
Savox servo

I am about to update it and see if that helps, but if you have any suggestions, that would be great.

Just set the voltage to 6v rather then 5.1 and updated to 1.03

Could be a bad switch on the bec or a cold solder joint anywhere between the battery, esc or motor.

No need for an external bec with a futaba rx

I knew i was forgetting something, i'm using a savox servo, so i have to have the bec

I don't think its a cold solder. i didn't have this problem the last time i ran it, i just started happening today.
