Using a RTF Plane as a BNF Plane

Hi Everyone,

I'm getting started in flying 'Heli's' ... have a question about transmiters and planes.

I have a SPEKTRUM DX6i transmitter, and purchased a Blade MCX2 BNF helicopter to get started.

I'm seeing online someone is selling a Blade 120 SR . He is advertising it as a "BNF" plane; but in the description he states:

"THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE THE FACTORY REMOTE, I USED MY DX6i WITH IT '

Can a RTF plane be used with the DX6i without any problems ? If not, what would need to be done to use it?

Thanks !

You can bind this on another model memory with your radio. I have a 120 on my 6Xi

THANKS BRIAN ....

Will I need to purchase anything additional ?

And can I assume that BNF and RTF planes are 'identical' (when it comes to pairing / binding them with my transmitter?) ... that the BNF is simply saying it comes with NO transmitter to save cost ??

Thanks Again

You need to know if it has a receiver in it and if so, is it a Spektrum or compatible. If not, you will need a receiver to go with your transmitter. Everything else should be compatible.
