Servo problems Help!
 

I have a XP digital servo DS1313 and I recently had to change the mounting plate on it, but now that I've put it back on, whenever it try to turn it on the servo continually tries to turn and won't stop even when I try adjusting the steering trim. It also sounds a lot louder now that I've put it back in. I've tried going back and resetting the gears again, but no such luck. Ideas?

Pull it back apart and take off the gears. Plug it in turn it on and center the radio trim then center the little sensor gizmo that sticks into the main gear. I'm not sure if that's it but what else could it be? Sorry but usually when a servo goes screwy I just get a new one so not sure if this will work. Anyone with actual knowledge???

I have adjusted the steering trim in the radio and it still tries to turn when I put the other 2 gears on making a very loud sound of a struggling servo!

Yeah doesn't sound good but remember the big gear has to be on there to operate the sensor that lets the servo know when to stop.

I found the piece that was supposed to hold the sensor! Its fixed! Thanks!
