DX3C and Orange RX?

Will the orange RX work with the DX3c radio?

Yes, I only use OrangeRX receivers and they work fine with my DX3c. They also work with the new DX4s

the orange are DSM2, the DX3C is approved to run DSM1, DSM2, and Marine protocol receivers so you should be fine!

Is there any special way to bind these other than per the instructions? I bought one on ebay and I can't get it to bind with my DX3C. Thanks in advance.

i've always had to unplug my servo to get mine to bind. i know a lot of "higher end" servos draw lots of power. it does usually take a couple tries though. i've never gotten a spektrum system to bind on the first try. even when using the name brand receivers.

I'll give it another go again tonight. Hopefully I can get this to work. If it's junk, it's a good thing it was only 11 bucks.

Be careful with those orange rxjunk. I bought one to give it a test run. It lasted 2 weeks. Cost me the lead at out main event during a pit stop. It just popped and was toast.
Spend the extra few bucks for the real thing......Just my 1/2 cents worth.
