Default What do you all use to test speeds?

The obvious choice is telemetry or a radar gun but I don't have an iPhone nor 2 grand for a radar gun so I was looking for a handheld GPS device. I want it to be small enough to transport between my boat and car. I have seen several that people have used on youtube videos but have not been able to locate online.

I used to use a Garmin forerunner 101 gps. You can buy a Bushnell radar gun for the same price, or you can get this: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...?strSearch=gps

My wife has a garmin forerunner watch but it's quite big and I don't believe it's very accurate. When I used it the other day it said my truck was 29.7 on 2s and 30.6 on 3s.

And I've done this too but there isn't much room inside my compartment, I don't want to have it outside the truck in case I flip and the same with my boat.

I've seem some on YT where people had units the size of a temp gauge.

voltron gps logger is what i use. grayson hobby is where it was bought. Smaller than a lighter and very accurate. plugs into a extra slot on receiver. practically no weight.

I'd say bushnell radar gun. As accurate as gps units I've seen, around the same price range, and no worrying about extra weight etc.

Both, good viable options.
