Tekin rs help

Stupidly I plugged my bullet plugs in backwards to my battiery and I think it fried my tekin rs. And my question is do any of you guys know what I can do as fare as sending it back to get fixed and how much they charge?

Is it actually dead? as someone at my local club did this the other night and it had only blown the cap.

Ya it's showing the fault light that it needs repairing

Yeah reverse usually kills them. A very brief tap can blow the cap without killing the esc but only the briefest of taps. Tekin will repair or replace it but I have no idea what it costs.

Worst case is $97 plus S/H for new RS Gen 2

I use red model paint on the positive terminal markings on all my batteries since my son did this to his Novak before. I always use a red identifier on the positive esc lead too. Red to Red helps.

I did this once and it shorted the battery not the SC.

I cut the wires so one side wont reach the other.

That's exactly what I do :)
