TORO TS 120A ESC

Try opening up your plastic TS120 and clean it out. I bet it is the source of your issues. The plastic version isn't that dirt and dust friendly, and we provided our feedback to them, and the aluminum version is much better for dirt applications. Also make sure you use the rubber plug for the programming port on the aluminum version.

I dont know about Ts120 or 160 but I have Ts 150 in 2 buggys and 4 wheel sct and 3 of my friends are running Toro esc as well and none of us has had any issues so far, that could change tomorrow lol but so far I love my toro ESC's, I run HW before and they were great but in my opion Toro just as good or better

Does anybody know what are default settings with new TS120A for throttle and break? Application shows both Throttle rate and Break force out of range, see picture. (unit had 1.x firmware and I upgraded to V. 2.04) Usually I just click some of available settings like weak or strong. But I started to think - maybe this default setting which does not correspond to anything GUI has is some special very good setting
And second - version 2.04 has lost feature that you can turn it off by holding break. Any way to get it back?

I have a Toro SC120, Model: SK-300052-01, and he has no brakes at all, I tried all the settings, brakes are very sluggish, hardly noticeable, back is, the panel 100%, the same Toro 150A, the motor slows down immediately and without problems. programmed via the PC controller many times, reconfigured the console and the controller, the brake is very weak.

That should help.

I did it once, still very weak brake, like he enabled 50%

I have the same problem. I found that Initial break and Drag break works - so, if I set Initial break to let say 30%, then breaks get much better. But all in all I think this is more of a workaround then real solution. Would be nice if SkyRC would fix this.

I take it you guys are still talking about the SC120?

Yes it is about 120A SC, he has a very weak brake mode, 50 % of the nominal
