DX3R TX screen completely out! please help

I bought this radio about 3 years ago but honestly i used this very little i bash maybe once every other month. Last year i notice the screen started to act up like it will blurred out like no more letters or numbers, i didn't pay much attention since i thought it was just my AA energizers that were about to give up and since i had my truck dialed up i didn't had to make any adjustments. Well recently i mount a different engine and due to the carb position i have to do some adjustments so i figured OK well lets just replace fresh batteries and go from there... i was wrong and it seem like the screen is completely dead :(but i can still used the radio just fine. Can anyone point me to the right direction? have you encounter the same issues and whats the best solution? can something be loose inside?

I would get a hold of horizon and send it in.

I was hoping i could open this and try to find out the issue myself but i might just send it in.

My Dx3s scroll knob and also the Ch1 and Ch2 trim levers are all out of whack. When I trim up Ch1 Ch2 will trim down lol. Also the scroll knob has no issues scrolling but there is a sweet spot that changes every time that I want to enter a certain menu.

I've never dropped my DX3s radio nor has it ever been wet, and since then I run nothing but Futaba from 2PL to 4PL and it does what I need them to do without ever losing binding or giving me radio glitches.

Since the DX3R is pretty pricey I'd send it in for repair.
