Servo locking up when power is off?!
 

I have a Savox 1256 that started doing something strange. It works fine while running, but it locks up completely when power is turned off. I'm sure something is starting to go out, but not sure what. Is this something that can be repaired easily or should I just get another servo and be done?

That's pretty weird. Makes me wonder if the rotor has a blown bushing.

What kind of vehicle is it in? I've got one in my E-Maxx and E-Muggy, both almost two years old with no issues. You got it in something that big?

Either way, just send it back to Savox, they'll fix it for free.

It's in my EB48. I'm not too worried if it is bad, I've got over a year of use out of it between a few different cars. I'll probably order a replacement and send this one back to Savox to get a spare.
