Hello. I have the Castle Creations Mamba Max Pro ESC with the 1410 3800kv motor. I am confused about the maximum voltage that this comba can take. I know for a fact that the Mamba Max Pro will handle 6s without a problem. The motor can states that it will handle 3s lipo max, but the maximum rpm is 100,000. With 3s it will only get 47,880 RPM. I am wondering if it will run on 4s. On 4s it will run at 63,840 rpms. Still under the maximum rpm. Technically it can handle 6s at 95,760 rpms it that maximum rpm is correct. Will it be ok to run on 4s just for speed runs?
Thanks!

The problem with going with higher voltage batteries is you'll run way too hot. For short speed runs you can get away with a 4s pack but that's about as far as I would push it. I know on paper it should handle 6s but if you do I'll guarantee you'll burn that 3800 up. I have the same motor and a few years ago I was into speed runs and I have run that motor many times on 4s and didn't have any problems. But short runs like 4 or 5 mins at the most.
