DX3R Pro is as top of the line as any of the other major brands best; very good and a great choice.

Um, i hate to say this, but i feel i have too: 1/8th scale buggies are not for beginners. Be light on the trigger, you are hurdling a cinderblock at high speeds, be considerate of those around you. Resist the urge to put a 4 or more cell battery in until you've mastered control and handling.

Enjoy your remote, car, and the hobby.

I am a lefty as well. I run the DX3R Pro in lefty configuration with no complaints.

I'm a lefty and soon found out the choices are very limited for radio's. Radiopost has one radio the TS401 that will change over to LH. What I can find online about them has been very good so far. Especially on their servos. I'm considering it mostly because it seems everyone has a Spektrum.

Left handed here as we'll but it makes no difference. For years there were no left handed radios. I am actually way worse if I try to drive with a left handed radio.
