Default Nosram ESC noob questions

Hi guys,

Really tried the search button but unfortunately not much info on this ESC.

Noob question is, on the specification, what does 400A/Phase means?

As i am currently a Hobbywing user, its easy to understand 35A, 80A, 120A for a layman like me..

so, can anyone help in advising 400A/phase equates to how many A in hobbywing terms?

Also, can anyone advise when was the Nosram Matrix Reverse ESC was launch and is it a capable ESC to handle 1/10 Truggies?

Cheers!!

Default

Guys, further to my above question, just tried to mount the esc on the truggy. The motor I have onboard the truggy is the hpi flux motor rated at 4300kv 9t.

Did as per instructions to take out the pinon, setup the nosram matrix esc and did the setting as per the manual, all is well, servo working but however, I am unable to throttle the motor, all the lights working as per normal.. But the motor doesn't power up!!

I have tried to our back the reload esc and work fine.. Can anyone help??..I am at a dire straits here.. Nosram matrix reserve rates that the esc is able to handle 4 turn and above motor and I only using a 9t now..

Also, when the matrix was connected, the leads to the motors is extremely HOT!!

Please help!
