Take the case off. An Airtronics 92524 has a 24x27mm circuit board and the few components are smaller than the connectors (ditch the connector housings and plug each pin in seperatley). Lots of ways to save space. I wouldn't do it in cars that get weather exposure but you should be ok in an F1.

The ASSAN is still smaller. No need to take anything off of it.

15mm wide.

4mm thick. You can't find anything thinner.

I just got the Orange rx for ny dx3r and it is very small. I installed it last night and seems to work just fine. At $12 you can't beat it!

Yes, the orange are good also. They are reliable also from all the reviews I have read. Another small one is the FrSky.

Some of the Corona's are small too but hey have issues. Don't know if they have been addressed or not. The FrSky are solid and reliable also, not as small as the ASSAN but still smaller than what the main stream has out there.

Hope that helps.
