Charger question

So I just got my HiTec X2 400 multi-charger in the mail today which has a total of 800watts and can charge up to 20amps on each port, my concern is the manual says a power supply has to be minimum of 12v and 60amps but the MaxAmps power supply I ordered is 575watts/12.5v/47 continuous amps, the most amps I'll be charging my lipos at is 13.5 amps on each port which totals 27amps, will my power supply be able to do this without damaging anything even though the manual says 60amps minimum???

Many devices as of now, are really on rechargeable battery as their source of energy. When a cellphone is connected to a charger, it is the first stage of charging. It is also adjustable due to a constant current.

47A will be fine. I run mine on a 15A radioshack supply. They claim 60A if youre running the charger at full capacity such as 2, 6S packs @19.5A each.

Alright thanks for the help, I'm using my battery in my car for now till my power supply comes in, seems like a nice charger for the price

Yes 8.4v is max. If you want to get longer life from your packs, have the charger stop at 8.36v.

It should go to 8.4v, but if the pack was quite discharged it could have taken a while to charge. By default there is a safety timeout of 120min, if you were charging it at a low rate of amps, it may have taken long enough to timeout on you... If the pack volts are below 8.4v, it is safe to just restart the charge cycle.

I hit the timeout once when trying to re-balance a waaaay out of balance 3s pack.

It may have either timed out or capped out.
