Novak GTB stuttering problem
 

OK I got an old Novak GTB esc thrown in with a car I traded for. It was wired really poorly. I re-did all the wiring nice and clean. I'm trying to make it work with a 17.5 Reedy motor I got. The problem is bad stuttering at all speeds. It has trouble starting from a dead stop. I hook the same motor up to my Novak Club esc and motor runs real smooth. I hook up my Novak 25.5 motor to the Novak GTB, and it runs smooth. I'm stumped... Any ideas?
