Traxxas TQ issue.

So i have a traxxas TQ radio that throttle does not work on... The receiver works fine on another radio. this radio will not work paired to this receiver but i am not sure on others. i have the radio on when i turn the esc on (the receiver and radio are paired correctly) but the esc light (vxl) flashes green really fast. when i shut the radio off it keeps flashing and goes full throttle when i turn it back on. everything is completely normal with another radio. I have set everything back to default. does anyone know how to fix this or if it is even possible to do so?

reset

did your try to re linking the TX to RX yet. That will link them to gether with the default setting..
first hold down both set and menu botton at the same time then turn on it on it should flash together then hold down the link button on your rx then turn it on. then press set on your tx..try that..

i have done that many times, with the one that it came with and someone else's. the other radio works fine but this one does not. I will try and get another receiver to bind with this radio and see if that works.

Reset the TX.
Re-Bind the TX to the RX.
Re-calibrate the ESC to the Transmitter.

If it's still misbehaving, reverse the throttle channel on the TX, then re-calibrate to the ESC.

Should fix it. The old TRX 2.4ghz system would do this with the VXL-3S's I've had.

Thanks for the help but the tx will not send a throttle signal to the rx for some reason. I cant calibrate it ddue to this issue, but you did help me figure out no signal at all is going to the rx. Will traxxas warrenty it even if i am not the original owner? Its never been used

Ouch, sounds like a busted TX.

Give Traxxas a call. The worst they can say is no. They'll probably fix it for you, if it's new.

wow... I just saw that the previous owner had opened this radio. So i am guessing he kept the good one and gave me the bad one. I would understand if the radio just died on me after some use due to the nature of the hobby. But being strait up lied to.. Looks like i wont be buying from local people here anymore. I am thinking about selling this 1:16 rally with 2 duratrax lipos for $200+ shipping and being done with it.
