dx3s steering spring
 

hey today racing i broke the return spring for the steering wheel on my dx3s, is there anywhere to buy one or is there one i can get at a hardware store thats close to this spring

I just fixed my brother's transmitter. If the little end loop has snapped off the spring, just bend out one of the spring loops so that you can hook it back on. Works just fine. No need to go hunting for a replacement spring.

When I replaced the spring, I turned the steering tension screw back in as well, so that the spring rate is not so high. Possibly less chance of breakage too.

I broke one of these in a DX3.0 a few years ago and I just pulled the last coil out of the spring and bent it into a hook and reinstalled it...never broke again.
