Tekin Redline Gen2 Cogging

Hey everyone, I already posted this question in the Tekin Motor forum, but I figured I would try to hit two places for an answer.

So, I received my Tekin Redline Gen2 17.5t today, and after installation, the only response I could get out of the motor was a very low speed cogging, even at full throttle. I have the motor hooked up with sensor wire to a HobbyWing Just Stock ESC in an SC10. The A wire from the ESC is connected to A on the motor, B to B and C to C. I then removed the Tekin motor and re-installed my Thunder Power brushless sensored motor which still worked fine. I also tried two different sensor wires with the Tekin motor with no luck. Any ideas on how I can get this motor running? I feel like everything is set up properly, but then again, I am new to this hobby.

Could be a faulty sensor in the motor.

I'm having the same cogging problem with my Tekin SC4x 550 motor. I ran a hall sensor test with my Novak Havoc Pro ESC and it appears to fail that test. I am probably going to send it in to Tekin for service.

Make sure the end bell timing isn't too high. That can cause the same issue.
