Savox Servo's

Currently using savox sc 1258 with no problems for the last two years but looking at going for two Savox sb 2271mg.

Has anyone used or have any feedback on these..??

Cheers

I run a 2271SG and have nothing but good things to say about it. Never any issues, lightning fast, and uses almost no amperage.

are they quieter? I run nitro so it doesn't really matter, but when adjusting, savox (1258, 1267 etc...)are noisey.

Quieter than what? All of our cars have Savox servos and all are about the same noise level when moving. The don't seem loud to me, but maybe I've just gotten used to it.

I'm not sure why everyone cares about a servo's noise level. what does it even matter? NOTHING

when you hold half throttle and your servo is buzzing, it's trying to do something which in turn is drawing power. Right? I have 1 radiopost servo that is quiet and doesn't make any sort of noise when holding in any position off neutral. I like my savox servo's but will replace them with rp's or maybe even protek as my budget allows just for this reason...

and i'm sure they're all drawing power at any angle other than n. unless you're running a 40 min main and your batteries don't last that long I don't see what the problem is. I run my gas buggy for an hour+ and the battery is still working fine and it's just a cheap venom 1800mah nimh battery

It's personal preference man. I don't like it so I will replace them at will or as needed. :)

Am I wright in saying that all digital servos will make a noise or use current at a given angle as they are super accurate and are always trying to adjust to the angle you have chosen with the tranmitter

does anyone use these with futaba Rx's using 7.4v lipos
