Lipo Question plz
 

Hi Guys

Just need a little help on a lipo first off im running a 2wd slash with a castle 5700 motor and a sidewinder esc Im running a 5000 2s lipo im woundering what a 8000 2s lipo will do will it give me more power and run time? this slash has been converted to a modified I race it ever thursday night I just want to get a little more power out of it the way it is now its fast but I want to have one up on my compitiion lol we have rules at the track but i havent heard anything about what size battery you can run thanks guys for the help and advice

Runtime yes power depends on c rating and if your current barriers are not putting out enough .

Hotrod is right. If you want more power you will need higher C rated packs, assuming the reported C rating specs are truthfully given by the manufacturer.

+1 on Hotrods post. Getting into the higher mAh, recommend keeping an eye on motor/esc temps during longer run times.
