Default can sidewinder SV2 handle 4pole 1406 motor?

got a brand new SV2 to pair with my old castle cm36 6900kv motor, the ESC shut down every 3-4 min. so I figured out these two wont work together.

so I bought a brand new 1406 4 pole 4600kv motor to go with SV2. it worked perfectly on the first day. but on the next day, the ESC can't constantly deliver full powr to the motor. there were short intervals (lilke 1/10- 1/20 sec) where the motor just didn't get the power from ESC.

so what went wrong with it? the ESC was only warm, not even hot. but it just can't provide full power the motor needs, what to do now

thanks

Be sure to have your LVC (low voltage cutoff) programmed to the correct battery type

The sidewinder should be able to handle a 1406 motor, because that is what it comes with in the combo.

sounds like your getting some glitching..Would lose signal for a second and reset esc or just act dead for a sec.. What is your setup rx/tx and is the rec. away from everything..

the bec is going out in the esc. castles bec only puts out 5 volts so they dont live long in high stress environments. they will fix it for 35 but its still only 5 volts. the answer here is the castle standalone 10 amp bec. which is like 25 and it puts out 6 volts
