Dean's vs Traxxas
 

I have 2 2WD Slash's, 1 Losi 22, 1 Electric Boost, Also I'm getting ready to buy a 4WD Slash. I would like to convert all the Cars/Trucks and Batteries over to one type of plug. Can you give me your thoughts?

I think both plugs are great in their own way.

The Dean's are a smaller plug although when soldering if you aren't quick it is easy to melt the plastic around the terminal. I have found with these plugs that my big hands have trouble pulling the connectors apart.

I used Traxxas plugs for the first time last season in my 1/8 buggy and will never look back. You solder the wires to the connector terminals and then push them into the plastic connector. Once that is all done you have a larger area to grab each end of the plug and disconnect your battery.

Neither. XT60 from HobbyKing all the way. Way cheaper than Deans or Traxxas and just as good.

Used to use Deans connectors. Still think they're a fine connector, however like some others I found myself pulling on the wires to pull them apart. Few years back switched to Traxxas connectors and highly recommend them. Easy to solder, handle lots of current, and size makes them easier to handle. Can't go wrong with them.

Everything I own is on TRX Connectors. Simple design, easy to work with, high current carrying capability.

+1 for Traxxas connectors. They're much easier to work with than Deans and easier to find than EC3s,etc.
