Screaming servo problem Orion Vortex VDS-1009

Got some problem with my low profile servo, Orion Vortex VDS-1009.

It has worked fine for 2 years but suddenly the servo started to scream when turning!
I disassembly the servo and located the noise to the servo motor.
Unfortunately the motor are soldered to the PCB and sealed so I did not give in to dismantle it.

I did try to put some oil down to the two holes from above where the motor are attached to the housing and the screaming stopped, but now the motor is feels a little slower to spin by hand but connected it appear to operate normally.

My guess it that the motors bushes are done, does anyone have experience of screaming servos?
Is there a replacement motor to get to this servo?
I'm a little afraid to use the servo because I don't want to fry the bec in my esc. :(

i think the problem is that it just is getting old, 2 years that's a really good run for a servo depending on how often its used

Yeah you might be right and it's been a great servo :)
Then I think about it, I have been using it for 3 years and it has many many hours of runtime.
Sad if it's just the motor, the housing and gears looks like new and as minimum play.
I have good knowledge in soldering so if I just could find a new motor the change would be quite easy.

you could try too find a new motor but i couldn't say yes or no too if youll find one, you could also try and contact orion and see if you can send it in but in the end it may just be better too buy new  and 3 years is a great run for a servo, i may have too try one of these versions :sneaky:
