Turnigy ESC

Has anyone tried one of the Turnigy esc's from Hobbyking? This one looks kind of like a rough Hobbywing/Orion knockoff.

I got the 120 amp version before Christmas, no instructions & you need a special program box. Both esc's & the programmer are now on back order. Right now it makes a nice paperweight.
Contacted them & they promised to send me the asap....

One of the other customers posted how to set it to the transmitter. One thing, if you run roar rules it is not approved for blinky mode if that applies to you.

Not bashing it, it is a real nice looking esc & the guy that figured out how to sync it to his radio said it really felt smooth. I have not tried it, I will wait for the programmer. They just came out & mine is from the first batch so there will likely be very little feedback.

Hopefully there will be more though.

That's kind of what I figured at that price. It's probably a decent esc, just no customer support.
