Mini 8ight controller upgrade help
 

I'm looking at upgrading my mini 8ight controller and receiver has any one got any suggestions? I was thinking about a spectrum DX3C is this a good controller is it over kill for a brasher ? Hoping to run my hpi trophy truggy 4.6 with it as we'll if I can! Any help or advise would be great!
