Revolectrix CellPro PowerLab 6

Is anyone using one of these similar to the CE Turbo GFX for battery testing purpose. I believe this should tell the mah, IR, Runtime, and some other things. Any thoughts on this charger?

Yep I have one its awesome. Get the revolectrix parallel charging board to go with it and your set.

Do you do all your battery testing with this then as well?

If you can swing it, spend the extra ~$60 and get the Powerlab 8 vs the 6.

You'll be glad you did.

The Pl6 will handle anything the rc car enthusiast would ever need to do. You don't really need the Pl8 unless you are into high power helicopter or airplanes where you will need to charge 8s packs. With the proper power supply the Pl6 can charge 6 6s packs in parallel quickly and safely.

Get the computer USB interface cord and use CCS software for IR values and pack graphing and comparing.

Great charger!

I am really considering the PL6. I know when parallel charging you must have the same cell count, but my question is how much voltage differential between packs is allowable?

With the parallel charging adapter the Pl6 still sees each packs individual cell voltages and charges accordingly. This allows several packs of the same cell count, but different capacities and discharge states to charge at the same time.

I purchased the combo 7, which came with the Pl6, Safe parallel adapter, USB computer interface.

I then purchased another set of charge cables so I could put male deans on and charge single packs easier. I bought the TP charge board and XH charge boards along with the carrying case.

I have absolutely no regrets purchasing this charger.

hello, im thinking in buying a revolectrix charger but i have some doubts, the first is wich one to choose, the 10 xp or the powerlab 6, iŽll use it for charging
my car lipos(nosram 2s 6900), and the second thing is to know is that if i can charge my batteries over 8.4v, i mean more than 4.2 voltrs per cell.

thanks

christian

I just bought the PL8 that was for sale on here. Really looking forward to using it.

Question, is there an easy way to export/log the data in excel? I want to compare my batteries over time/cycles.

I have been using FMA chargers for many years and love them. Right now I have a Cellpro4, a Multi4 and Powerlab8. I personally wouldn't trade none of them for anything out there. I also bought one of the parallel boards for my Powerlab8. I now charge all six of my 4000 packs from storage voltage to full in 32 minutes. I also discharge them back to storage voltage at the same time regardless of how much voltage each pack is when starting. Here's my setup.:D

way cool. remember its revolectrix and not fma anymore
