Default HobbyWing EZRun 35a Punch Setting

I just installed a HobbyWing EZRun 35a ESC in my Mini 8ight. While it has almost no cogging at all, it has a lot less punch then the stock Losi ESC. Anyone else notice this?

I even set the throttle punch too 9 the max.

Also once it gets moving a little it can easily do a wheelie, but not from a stand still. Usually wheelies are easiest from a stand still. Is it just my ESC or is this normal?
