charger issue???

so i got a newish onyx 230 charger in a package deal recently and have been using it for my lipos. it does not have a built in balancer or a port for one so i have a electrifly stand alone balancer that ive been using and i use it every time i charge and after the battery has been used. recently i started keeping track of how the batt is charging and the voltage numbers. now i know that while a battery is charging it will skew the voltage numbers and that the balancer/voltage checker is accurate to within .01v so i was never really too worried about what it displayed while charging. and i know that a battery (2s1p) is supposed to be charged to 4.2v per cell and 8.4v overall. well yesterday i noticed that even though the charger was set properly (actually set for a storage voltage, 50% of cap.) that the charger was reading that it was charging at 8.39-8.40v and my balancer/voltage reader was reading 4.24 per cell and 4.24-4.23v even minuits after it was done charging. now i know that going .01 over a cells cap is dangerous and reduces the overall battery life. should i be worried?:confused:

I'd be worried if any charger didn't stop when it was supposed to especially if it never started ramping down (cv stage)
