No real reason to own one unless you bash. Waterproofing adds HEAT! Not good for race electronics running at their limit. I guess i was one of the lucky ones as i never had my v3 mmm blow on me while it was in my savage flux.

i use me waterproof mm extreme at championships and its never overheated! Coz protection from water to do correctly.

all traxxas escs with BEST protection of water - and its NEVER overheated if you use it correctly. Why do you think that so biggest company like castle cant do BEST product with good protection?
