Ordered the 70C 7200 mah w/deans and the 70c 5600 mah saddle packs today. Looks like my Tekno SCT410 and B44.2 will be pimped!

Just wanted to say I'm really impressed with the 5000mah 40C pack I bought last week. I don't think there is a better pack for the money.

Phew! I'd been checking the site regularly over the last few days, but forgot to look at it this morning. Fortunately, I caught this thread update and just submitted my order for 2 of the 7200 mah 70C Deans batteries. Can't wait to get 'em and see what they do in my SCTE, SC10 4x4 and TLR22 buggy. Fingers crossed that this winds up being a good purchase!

I'm interested in these SMC batteries. My Venom 3s 4000 20c battery is currently swollen and I'm afraid to let my son mess with it even though it still holds a charge and the truck is fast.

I have Slash 4x4 (Model 6808) all stock. My son and I don't race (yet) so it's mostly bashing now. We want to go to a local indoor clay track so I only want to buy 2s for now.

What would be the best battery for my truck? I'm looking to buy 2.

Factory Spec 7.4V 6500mAh 60C Traxxas - I love the idea of long run times on this battery...

Factory Spec 7.4V 5000mAh 40C Traxxas - 10 bucks cheaper than the 6500 mah, is it worth it?

I would go with the 6500-60C as this pack has great performance for the price.

I really wanted the shortys, but they wouldn't be in stock until after the 2 main races of the year at my local track. Danny thought that these packs would offer the best voltage curve and lowest IR for blinky. I figure these batts along with my Fantom 17.5 Turn HT IONv.4 Works Edition motor should be a hot combo. I need every advantage I can get being such a bad driver.(note my sig) :D

I just ordered the 6500 60c with Traxxas connector today. I can't wait to try it out. Hope it gets to Ohio by Saturday!

I've heard nothing but good things about your batteries Danny as we have chatted a bit recently about my T4 application for the best batteries. I am looking forward to ordering a couple later this month, have to wait for some more cash flow. I will be sure to let you know how they work out.

I ordered a factory spec with the traxxas connector on 2/2 it arrived yesterday. Very fast shipping and I plan to test the battery today after work at the track. Hopefully it performs as well as the company did on shipping!!!! Thanks SMC!!
